Took a half day off work, as predicted and got down to the water with the wind blowing a steadyish 18-20 mph. Rigged up the 8.0m because I wanted the power for when the tide turned, and got out on the water ASAP. Had an hour or so blasting back and forth, and although quite cold, was enjoyable. Would have been nice to have a bit more wind, but unfortunately it started to drop off, so packed up and did some family stuff to build the brownie points back up again. Looking windy but very cold for Friday and the weekend!
